Annie Taylor learned to paint in America,in the 80's where she was a partner in a gallery and studio on Long Island. She returned to painting in 2005 and to further studies with a grant awarded under a mentoring scheme. She is primarily a landscape painter and works in oils. Patterns in the landscape have been the impetus for much of her recent work. From the rolling patchwork downs and fields of the South West of England, to the rugged, mountainous countryside of the Pyrenees where she lives and works.
